An Introduction to Glow Sticks
Glow sticks have been in existence for over 25 years, but their popularity keeps growing. The light-emitting sticks are available in many sizes and colours, and have been utilized for many different activities. They're best sellers during Halloween, serving as both a safety item and tool for projecting an eerily glow in haunted homes. Glow sticks can also be found on the race scene, where they're incorporated into complex dances. Even SCUBA divers and toddlers use the sticks as makeshift lamps.
Glow sticks are quite cheap and can be bought at many places. Individual glow sticks can be purchased at convenience stores and, during Halloween at food and drug stores. Year-round, glow sticks can be found online or at specialty shops. Irrespective of where they're bought, glow sticks are relatively inexpensive. Needless to say, this has everything to do with the fact they're extremely short-term, disposable products. The best glow sticks, even when suspended, can only last a few days. More commonly, a glow stick will burn out in a few hours. Before breaking, however, most commercial glow sticks can last up to two decades.
The vibrant sticks, which shine as the consequence of a chemical reaction, can be bought as big sticks, mini sticks, necklaces, bracelets, and much more. For haunting, dance, diving, or camping, glow sticks can be both enjoyable and useful.
